ZolaHub Docs is an online document-creation workspace. This policy describes how information is handled when you use Docs.

Information you provide

We store the email used to register, password-verification data, business profile details, clients saved in your profile, and the documents you create. Documents may contain your customers' names, addresses, prices and payment instructions. Please only add information you have a legitimate reason to handle.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate your account, send verification and password-reset emails, save and display your documents, and provide the features you request. We do not display your workspace documents publicly by default.

Sharing

When you choose to create a read-only sharing link, anyone with that link can view the shared document until the link expires or you revoke it. Avoid sharing confidential content with unintended recipients.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage and website infrastructure. Resend is used to send verification and password-reset emails. Their processing may involve infrastructure outside your country.

Security and account access

Passwords are stored using one-way password hashing. Sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies. We use account permissions to limit access to saved documents. No system can guarantee absolute security; protect your password and avoid sharing private links publicly.

Storage and deletion

Your account documents and business profile remain stored while you maintain the account, unless deleted sooner. You can export documents and your business profile from Settings, delete individual documents, or delete your account. Account deletion removes the account, its documents and profile from the application database; infrastructure backups may retain copies temporarily according to provider retention practices.

Your choices

You can update your profile, revoke document links, change your password, export your data or delete your account from Settings. For privacy enquiries, contact ZolaHub through zolahub.co.ke.
